En ce moment plein d'affiches de Sinclair "The french funk master" dans les rues de Hong Kong. On trouvait ça un peu bizarre, et renseignements pris, le spectacle a lieu dans le cadre d'un festival des arts consacrés entièrement à la France (Cocoricoo!!!). Quand je vous dis qu'on nous adore ici, les français sont hyper tendance!!!

Le French May has come a long way from its beginnings in 1993. Indeed, it is now the largest French arts festival in the Asia-Pacific region and has grown into one of Hong Kong’s major cultural events. With increasing success come higher expectations from our public and I am confident that the fourteenth edition of Le French May will meet them.
The events we have selected this year encompass a wide range of styles and a large variety of artistic and cultural expression, from visual arts to music, classical to contemporary, and cinema to gastronomy, all meeting the highest international standards.
Deliberately eclectic, from Opera to Hip-Hop, the 2006 programme will suit everyone’s tastes. We have been working toward the goal of pleasing diverse audiences from many different backgrounds by bringing them something fresh, diversified and sometimes unusual, reflecting the best of France’s artistic heritage and its current art scene.
This year’s edition is also a milestone, as we will feature Carmen by George Bizet, one of the best loved operas of all time. We are also particularly proud to present an exhibition related to the art of engraving from the Louvre Museum. On exhibit for the first time outside of France will be the masterpieces: Coronelli’s globes. Dating from 1693, these are reproductions of the two famous globes offered to the “Sun King” Louis XIV by Cardinal d’Estrées. The Celestial globe represents the positions of the heavenly bodies when Louis XIV was born and the Terrestrial globe illustrates the exploration of the five continents.
I would like to thank all our valued partners for their help in the production of Le French May, chief among them the Leisure and Cultural Services Department for their continued support.
